headed out to denver last week to check out the SIA trade show. for the last however many years i have been going to the show its always been in vegas. for some reason they decided to move the show to denver and hold it at the same time as the xgames. gotta say that was kind of a bone head move. anyway, denver. so first thoughts on denver, kind of ghetto… i am used to ghetto, like the zman’s old pad where bums would pee in the street and have sex in the yard. ghetto. i am not saying denver is like that by any means, just saying i have seen some ghetto shit. so i would give the parts of denver that i saw a “kind of ghetto” label. i am sure there are nicer areas and i dont mean to bash it. i am just sayin… could be that crane’s hotel was the site of a near shoot out? or an awesome tweeker that got rolled at the 686 party or perhaps the dude that got all up in keith sweat’s face about his “cheese.” could be all those things… anyway SIA show was better then i thought it was gonna be. attendance was actually pretty good, judging by the looks of the crowds. heard the grumblings about it not being in vegas which was natural, but over i thought people were pretty up beat. went to some pretty good parties, saw some old friends, and was outta there by sat…

after all the violence had to head to the strip club for the burton party. yeah thats right they had a company party at a strip club, whats the big deal?

pulled a last minute trip to try and catch some fresh tracks. definitely a lot of snow in the local mountains. a lot. too bad for us the whole mountain was socked in. it would clear here and there and in the trees wasn’t bad but every once and awhile total white out. like riding in a cloud where things just jump out at ya. all in all a fun day though, ended up with a few good turns under our belt.

its not that there is that much snow right there, its that it was at like 2000 ft.
